One year ago, I longed to be someone who had a fitness before and after that showed something.
I wanted to be a person that could share a 10, 15, 20, or 30 pound weight loss with confidence in my smile. I wanted to be someone who enjoyed working out, who got a burst of energy after a workout, and could sleep well at night.
One year ago, I was none of the above.
One year ago, I set out to change all of that. I became disciplined, dropped (most) of the excuses, made small changes to my diet, and to my surprise, I saw change. I kept at it, setting goals month after month, and progressively saw change in myself! Even more surprising is that for the first time in over two years, I kept it off.
20 pounds. I hit my big goal of 20 pounds lost the very day that we left for Punta Cana. My other goal was filled there, too, because I wore a bikini on that trip and felt amazing.
No gimmicks. No fast start tips or crash diets. I stopped drinking pop. I stopped adding SO much creamer to my coffee. I drink WAY more water. I work out every single day. Most mornings I get up at 4:30am so I can get my workout in and shower before I have to get the kids up and ready for school. I have a TV in the basement, some workout flooring, a few hand weights, a resistance band, and that’s really all I have needed so far. While going to a gym sounds amazing, where we live it’s just not feasible for me.
That’s where Beachbody comes in! I have had amazing success with Beachbody because their programs I can do at home without fancy equipment anytime of any day. In January, they announced the greatest thing EVER! An ALL ACCESS PASS to EVERY SINGLE BEACHBODY WORKOUT for a year for ONLY $99. Seriously. It’s the greatest!
I have purchased several programs in the last year (Insanity Max 30, Piyo, T25, and Core de Force) and alone these programs run around $60. Being able to have access to ALL of them PLUS anything new that Beachbody comes out with this year for $99 is the best deal you will ever find. There is something for EVERYONE.
Beachbody is the best thing that has ever happened to my fitness journey because the programs are not unattainable. You can be clueless about fitness, follow the modifier through a program, and still have amazing results. The workouts are effective, there is always a way to challenge yourself, and the eating plan doesn’t make me feel deprived. I don’t have to make separate meals for myself and that’s the greatest! I just modify what I eat, but it hasn’t been a big deal at all. I think the problem with other programs is that they seem so unreachable and that I would have to give up things or radically change my eating. I DO give up certain things (I cut WAY back on the bread/candy/snacking) but I don’t feel deprived.
If you are looking for a change, let me encourage you to try this. It takes the guesswork out if you follow the program, and with so many to choose from, it will be easy to find the perfect one for you! It’s been an amazing journey. It takes hard work and dedication, but I couldn’t be prouder of my results. I can’t wait to crush some more BIG goals this year!
