I was blessed to marry into a pretty large family. Brandon’s family has been in the Central Illinois area for many, many years, and along with that comes a strong family background and family traditions. I am not originally from here, but my family has our own set of traditions for for the holidays. We do a pretty good job doing both, but I was always looking here, there, and everywhere for certain holiday recipes. Brandon’s mom’s chocolate pixies, his Grandma’s apple pie, my Grandma’s recipe for homemade toffee, and my dad’s family’s dressing for Thanksgiving. I decided this year that all that racing and chasing was going to be over, and I was creating my own holiday hack: a Holiday Recipe Box!
With this, I can combine all of our favorite family holiday recipes and they are safe and sound in ONE place.
This recipe box helps me nourish our family traditions, just like Schnucks helps me to nourish my family during the holiday season! With their low prices and fantastic selection, Schnucks helps me make the most of the holiday spirit.
Another holiday hack? An easy soup recipe that is perfect for busy baking days when you can’t stand the thought of making a big meal. My favorite? Taco soup!
From pot to table in less than 30 minutes, this is a great recipe for the holiday rush! I can do all of my holiday shopping at Schnucks thanks to their quality ingredients and Savings Salute! Their brand of canned goods are at great low prices, and their produce department always has me swooning. Shopping Schnucks saves me time and money, leaving me with more time for my family this season.
Stock up for all of your holiday gatherings!
How do you save time during the holidays? Any other holiday hacks come to mind? I would love to hear them!
