Both of the kids love to help in the kitchen, Kenley especially! They love learning about things in the kitchen and I like letting them have some creativity. Kenley always wants to bake when she comes home from school, but sometimes I like to surprise them both with fun treats after school. The look on their faces when I tell them I have a fun surprise is always priceless.
Snack Pack pudding cups are always a hit, and for this particular snack, I wanted them to resemble hot chocolate. Add some Redi-Whip and sprinkles to the top, and you have a fun treat resembling one of their favorite cold weather drinks. The weather is getting cooler and these two LOVE hot chocolate! To stay with the theme with our snack, we made hot chocolate stir spoons to use in our hot chocolate for later on this fall.
You will need:
melting chocolate of your choice– I used white chocolate
sprinkles (or crushed candy– lots of options!)
Melt the chocolate according to the directions on the package.
When it is melted, dip the plastic spoon in and get the spoon as full of chocolate as you can. Carefully lay the spoons on wax paper, then add the sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
Allow the chocolate to set (approximately 30 minutes) then wrap individually in plastic bags and tie with ribbon. These would make a great teacher’s gift, or something fun for a neighbor!
Snack Pack’s come in a variety of flavors with limitless mix-ins, offering your kids some creativity in the kitchen. Each serving of Snack Pack has as much calcium as 8oz of milk, so you can let your kids creative freedom ring and not worry about what they are eating.
Plus, these treats are customizable for any holiday or special occasion! These are fun for Halloween parties, and you can change them up however you want!
