You guys all know that I am a HUGE fan of StitchFix. I first learned about them two years ago when I attended the Influence conference, and I was hooked! I wish I could get them monthly, but I can settle for every once in a while! It makes it more fun! Here’s how it works:
Go to StitchFix.com and register. You will then get to fill out a style profile, so your stylist can get a sense of what you like and dislike. You can even say “I need something to wear to a wedding” or “I have a job interview that I want to look great at!” and they can send you items specifically for those occasions, just like a personal shopper! Then, pick the date you want to receive your fix. StitchFix will send you 5 items that your stylist picks just for you! You will be charged a $20 styling fee, but no worries– that $20 can be applied to something you love in your fix!
Try everything on in the comfort of your own home– you have 3 days to try it on and decide! Then, you ship what you don’t love back to StitchFix via a prepaid envelope. When you checkout on your StitchFix account, you can tell them why you decided to keep or not keep the items, your $20 stylist fee is applied to as credit to what you do keep, AND if you keep all 5 items? You get 25% off the entire fix! StitchFix isn’t a monthly subscription, so you can just schedule them as you choose! That’s what I love best!
For this fix, I asked for an olive colored cargo vest (which they didn’t have) and some great ankle length jeans. Jeans are one of the items of clothing I HATE shopping for since I am so short. Here’s what was in my fix!
I love these cards that they send with fixes! It shows just HOW to style your new clothes (2 different ways) and I love being able to see them laid out like that.
Rikka Meredith Chunky Knit Infinity Scarf: While I loved the chunky look of this scarf, it was too rainbow colored and a little high in price. Plus, I really don’t NEED anymore scarves even though I love them so! I was afraid I wouldn’t get enough wear out of this.
Market and Spruce Alan Cowl Neck Asymmetrical Cardigan
While I did really love this, I have almost the exact same thing in a gray color, and couldn’t justify having two.
Splendid Randy Stripe Pocket Detail Knit Top
I requested a great fitting black and white stripe top to wear with the denim vest and blazer that I already own. While the fit of this top was great, it was at a pretty high price point. I loved the neckline and the pocket though! My stylist, Windy, totally nailed it. BUT I just couldn’t justify it. So back it went.
Just Black Dean Ankle Zip Skinny Jean
Let’s talk about how much I LOVE these jeans. The fit is perfect, they aren’t too long, they are a dark wash, and they have a zipper on the ankle. ALL of my favorite things. I kept these. They are my absolute favorite, and will go great with booties this fall!
Kut from the Kloth Nadir Chiffon Trim Knit Top
I am a HUGE fan of this brand. My friend carries it in her boutique, and I love their jeans! I was surprised to get this top in that brand, because I hadn’t ever looked at anything other than their denim. It is SO cute, comfy, and looks great with my new ankle jeans– but could easily be worn with leggings.
My stylist did an awesome job on my fix– I am set for awhile, I would think! Have you tried StitchFix yet?
