Before I had kids and was a stay at home mom, I worked as a teacher’s aide in the school that our kids currently go to. Not only are they my kids teachers, but they are former coworkers turned friends, which makes for a very special relationship. I also sub frequently in the school, so I get to see first hand what all of my teacher friends use in their day to day, so I wanted to incorporate some of those things into Teacher Appreciation Gifts.
I know that I don’t tell my kids teachers enough how much I appreciate them. I know the time, the energy, and the creativity that their days entail. So here’s what I put together for them for Teacher Appreciation Week:
I picked up these cute tumblers along with some Post-It notes, chapstick, Sharpie markers, mini colorful pens and Extra® Gum! I used so many Post-It notes when I worked at the school, and I couldn’t pass them up in those cute colors! Colored pens get used all the time, especially in Pre-K and Kindergarten, and the mini sizes? SO cute!
I just filled the tumblers with the goodies, wrapped them in tissue paper with the gum next to the tumblers, put them in a brightly colored bag, attached a sweet card, and voila! The kids were so excited to deliver them to their teachers, and it was fun to have their input as well! We chose this flavor for our teachers but the Extra® Gum Spearmint is my favorite!
The most fun part of these gifts? The new Extra® 35-stick packs! I picked them up in Extra® Gum Spearmint and in Extra® Gum Polar Ice®. This pack features more gum in a durable, recycled package. They are perfect for tossing from your purse to your work bag and back, and you will always have plenty to share! Give Extra, Get Extra!
Kenley’s recently decided to start writing her name in all caps. I think it’s so cute! It was the perfect touch for their teacher gifts!
You can find new Extra® Gum 35-stick packs at Walgreens!
